As a first generation American whose father came to America in search of freedom, I have a deep appreciation for legal immigration. I want the Republican Party to be the party of legal immigration and to welcome new citizens. I also believe we need to support a
non-immigrant guest worker program (that doesn’t include a path to citizenship).
I strongly favor efforts to secure and protect our border. Stopping the flow of illegal immigrants crossing our border should be a core
function of the federal government. It is unfair to burden taxpaying American citizens and legal immigrants with the costs of illegal
non-immigrant guest worker program (that doesn’t include a path to citizenship).

immigrants who come to our country and take advantage of our generous social safety net. I oppose any form of amnesty for those who immigrated here illegally.
