In Case You Missed It: GOP congressional hopefuls contend Polis is vulnerable

Wednesday, March 07, 2012

The Longmong Times-Call ran a story this morning about the new, competitive 2nd Congressional District, and the fact that the right candidate could well beat incumbent Democrat Congressman Jared Polis.

"Boulder business investor Eric Weissmann, who's vying with Lundberg to be the Republican candidate in this year's 2nd District general election contest with Polis, said voter registration tallies after redistricting show the 2nd to be more competitive than it's been in the past, with Democrats reportedly having only a 2 percent edge over Republicans.

"'We don't have to lose this time,' Weissmann said."
